ROBERT LUKETIC

Titsiana Booberini, written and directed by Luketic, is a musical variation on the classic ugly duckling story. The film tells of a lonely supermarket checkout girl ridiculed for her somewhat hairy lip and looks - she ultimately finds happiness and deliverance in the supermarket cosmetic aisle. Titsiana Booberini was chosen to screen at the 1997 Telluride Film Festival and the 1998 Sundance Film Festival, and was the opening night film for the Brisbane International Film Festival, the Exposure International Film Festival in Queensland, and the St. Kilda International Short Film Festival in Melbourne.

Luketic’s upcoming slate includes a three-picture deal with Miramax Films. He’s also currently in development on the feature film The Girl Most Likely To with Marc Platt and Gold Miller.

Aaron Yoo

is a young actor, indeed, and if the last year has proven anything - especially with the success of Transformers -

Disturbia represents Yoo’s first major, big-budget studio film and despite the fact that he’s already wrapped production on Kevin Spacey’s 21, he still maintains the excitement of a young, rising star.

“This is the stuff that you lay in bed at night thinking about…When I first found out I got the role, I ran around a parking lot flapping my arms and making chicken sounds. I really couldn’t tell you why.” He pauses, laughing, searching for his next few words. “The first really ridiculous moment is when we went out to take a look at the house…And D.J. looks around and says that this - what we’re seeing - is only the front of the facade…The back of the house is in Pasadena somewhere. And inside of the house doesn’t even really exist. They just built a whole entire home on two levels over at Paramount…Needless to say, it’s kind of amazing.”

Born in Augusta, Georgia on July 30, 1961, Laurence’s mother later moved the family to Brooklyn, NY, which Laurence considers his hometown. He is not only an actor, but also a playwright, screenwriter, director and producer.
He originated one of the most recognizable movie characters in history in the role of Morpheus in the 1999 Warner Brothers hit, The Matrix. He returned in the back-to-back sequels The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions both released in 2003.
In January of 2003, Fishbourne  starred in Dreamworks’ Biker Boyz. And in 2004 he was seen in the role of the Boston detective, Whitey, in Clint Eastwood’s Oscar winning drama, Mystic River

“Shy, geeky, amiable” MIT grad Kevin Lewis, was, Mezrich learns at a party, living a double life winning huge sums of cash in Las Vegas casinos. In 1993 when Lewis was 20 years old and feeling aimless, he was invited to join the MIT Blackjack Team, organized by a former math instructor, who said, “Blackjack is beatable.” Expanding on the “hi-lo” card-counting techniques popularized by Edward Thorp in his 1962 book, Beat the Dealer, the MIT group’s more advanced team strategies were legal, yet frowned upon by casinos. Backed by anonymous investors, team members checked into Vegas hotels under assumed names and, pretending not to know each other, communicated in the casinos with gestures and card-count code words. Taking advantage of the statistical nature of blackjack, the team raked in millions before casinos caught on and pursued them. In his first nonfiction foray, novelist Mezrich (Reaper, etc.), telling the tale primarily from Kevin’s point of view, manages to milk that threat for a degree of suspense. But the tension is undercut by the first-draft feel of his pedestrian prose, alternating between irrelevant details and heightened melodrama. In a closing essay, Lewis details the intricacies of card counting.

was born in 1981. He was born in London, England. He is a graduate of the University of Salford where he studied music and performance. Jim has a fairly extensive TV filmography, but it wasn’t until recently that he gained widespread fame. In 2007, Jim starred as Jude (as in Hey Jude) in the amazing movie-musical Across The Universe, which was built around the classic songs of The Beatles. In this beautiful movie, Jim got to showcase not only his acting ability, but a talent for singing as well. In the movie, Jim sings many Beatles songs such as “Something”, “I’ve Just Seen A Face”, “Revolution”, and “Strawberry Fields Forever”. This December, you can see Jim   in the movie Crossing Over, a drama about immigrants coming to America and the tough process they must go through to get there. In 2008, you can see Jim as Ben Campbell in 21.

21  co-stars Laurence Fishburne, Liza Lapira, Josh Gad, Jim Sturgess and Masi Oka (”Heroes”). Shooting is set to begin next month in Boston and Las Vegas.

Kevin Spacey, who also will appear in the film, is producing alongside Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca. Spacey previously worked together with Bosworth on Beyond the Sea and Superman Returns.

The film’s helmer, Robert Luketic, previously directed Bosworth in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!
